Day Dreams

Gianna was sitting at her usual desk, patting a pen on a peice lf paper. She loved her job, mainly because she wanted to be a vampire and join them one day; But it did get boring sometimes. Heidi was out finding there next meal, she didnt know when she would be back. The others were wandering about the castle, waiting for Heidi to return.

Gianna was lost in her own thoughts, thinking about what it would be like to atually be a vampire. That was something she always dreamed about. Atually being a vampire and joining the volturi, helping her masters. That would be the best thing ever in her mind. It was even better then the thought of growing up.

She was daydreaming for god knows how long. Then all of a sudden the sound of someone clearing there throat woke me up.

Chelsea and Afton were going out of the castle to do some hunting together. When they rounded the corner and saw Gianna leaning on her desk, eyes half closed. Afton cleared his throat in a humanly manner.

Chelsea scowled at the human, despite the fact that she was hungry, she wouldn't kill Gianna. The stupid human thought the Volturi were going to change her. She didn't know anything.

"It would help if you paid attention to your work." Chelsea said dangerously, Afton clasped her hand in his.

Gianna stared at the two with wide eyes.

Gianna looked up to see chelsea and afton stood infrount of her. She stared at them wide-eyed for a few seconds. "Umm... yeah sorry about that I was just erm..." She struggled to find the right words. She just grabbed her pen again and a folder then walked over to the cabinets filing it then sitting back down, quickly. She went back to staring at them.

Chelsea almost smiled as the pathetic human scurried around, attempting to become busy again.

With a flick of her wrist, Chelsea had her blonde hair over her shoulder. Her red eyes didn't even blink as the two walked past the human.

Chelsea felt eyes on her back the entire way out.

She could care less, for all she wanted to do was eat.

Heidi walked in just after Chelsea and Afton had left the room, behind the beauty was a gaggle of humans that would soon become the Volturi's meal.

Heidi always thought it as interesting to watch Gianna's attitude towards the humans, seeing how she is one. However, the fact that she knew we were eating them, it didn't seem to affect her at all. Heidi assumed Gianna already thought herself as a vampire and dehumanized herself from the victims.

"Welcome back, Heidi," Gianna greeted the huntress as she walked in.

Nodding at the secretary, Heidi turned to her crowd and gave a short introduction, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is our secretary Gianna. She handles all of the boring stuff for us, thankfully," Heidi joked, raising a couple chuckles from the humans.

The humans face relaxed as they looked at Gianna and Heidi knew exactly why. Gianna looked human compared to Heidi and all the other vampires they witnessed. They silly humans immediately felt more comfortable around the Volturi secretary because instictually, they knew Heidi was the predator.
