The Meeting Room

Heidi, Jane and Chelsea waltzed into the meeting room to find Alec, Demitri, Felix and Afton there, already discussing what has taken place. It took only a moment but the girls were soon seated beside the boys, ready to put in their imput on the situation.

"It would seem that this human is aware of what we are and somehow has managed to escape our attention until now," Felix stated, turning to the girls now that they had joined them.

"Yes, but also, he knows about our past which brings me to believe that this has been happening for centuries. Of course, that means it couldn't have just been one human because he would live less than a century," Heidi continued after Felix, all eyes on her now because of what she had discovered.

Continueing, she spoke again, "I'm assuming that this.. spy tactic has been passed down from generation to generation which means we are not looking for just one sole person but a family of spies."

The guards were quiet for a moment, assessing the situation before Jane spoke up, "How do we know that this family has been around for a while, maybe this was one lucky human who overheard the guards speaking about their past."

Heidi shook her head, "No. That isn't the case, I'm sure of it."

Jane raised an eyebrow, "How so?"

"Because none of us in the Volturi are willing to speak about our past," the huntress stated simply.

All the guards nodded their heads at once, realizing that Heidi was indeed correct.

As soon as Chelsea walked into the room with Heidi and Jane, her eyes met Afton's and before she knew it, she was seated beside him. She could tell he was worried about this mystery human who knew too personal information about the guards.

Afton clasped her hand in his and she looked at him. His face was tense, ready to find the bastard and end his life. Afton was a guard, he was ready to do anything.

Chelsea listened to Heidi make her points, which were rather good and Chelsea nodded her head in agreement.

"Then why now, how did we suddenly discover these pieces of paper about us? Where have they been keeping all this?" Chelsea asked, frowning and not liking the sound of the situation, "How come we are suddenly finding out about this if this human and his companions have been working for centuries?"

The group went silent for but a moment, pondering these questions that really have no right answer.

"Something sounds strange, indeed," Heidi spoke after a moment. "Just like you said, Chelsea. Why are we just finding out about this now? It sounds like a trap," she continued.

The girls nodded before finally coming to the same decision together. Jane spoke up, "It would seem that the only way we're getting answers is right from the source. We will have to find this annoyance and deal with them accordingly."

The girls nodded their head before turning to the boys who were conversing between themselves. Felix was flexing his arms and talking about dealing with the spies himself. The girls rolled her eyes before shaking their heads, boys never changed, even as vampires.

Demetri was quietly adding his thoughts into Felix's monologue while Afton and Alec quietly watched the two of them, slightly amused with the bulky man's rant.

The girls shared a look before speaking in unison, "Boys," rolling their eyes.
