The Gardens Empty
PostSubject: The Gardens   The Gardens EmptySat Sep 18, 2010 9:08 pm

Chelsea and Heidi were sitting together in the garden. They sat side by side on the stone bench that was surrounded in different colours of roses and other types of flowers. Each vampire was lost in their own thoughts.

Chelsea was thinking about the times when the sun shone and she didn't sparkle and it actually warmed her. This was when she was human of course. Sometimes, she missed those days. Missed being able to eat normal food and go out into public without having to wear black cloaks and have everyone stare at your eye colour.

Her eyes closed briefly before someone cleared their throat in a humanly manner. Chelsea opened her eyes and there stood Jane before them.

The small vampire had her hands clasped behind her and her eyebrows were slightly raised at the two of them, a blank expression was plain on her face.

Chelsea and Heidi stood, waiting to see what she wanted. Perhaps it was another mission. Chelsea was excited to get going again.

Her thoughts of the past blew away in the breeze.

"Heidi, Chelsea, you are wanted by Aro in the grand hall." Jane said after Chelsea had looked up. She felt a bit misleading, because she had no idea what Aro had been planning... unlike Felix...

As the girls stood, Jane turned sharply on her heel and walked toward the door. Noticing they weren't following she said, "I suggest you move with haste, he grows impatient."

Heidi and Chelsea stood up and made their way after Jane, knowing that it would be of no good to anger her more than necessary by lagging behind.

It would seem that Aro had something planned for them. Hopefully, it would be something to get the girl's hands dirty because the castle had been very boring and slow as of late. There had been no new missions or anything to keep themselves entertained with. Lately, the Volturi had been feeding more than necessary because they had nothing better to do and when they fed unnecessarily, that meant more deaths to cover up without raising suspicion.

The three woman walked down the cold hallways towards the Grand Hall, however, not feeling the ice cold air that seeped from the cement walls. Not now that they were vampires, inhuman beings that could feel neither the cold nor the heat.

Jane was quiet walking through the hallways, her thoughts wandering, more like flying through her mind. She thought about everything from Dragons to Daffodils. At last they arrived. Jane threw open the double doors, and let the girls enter before her.

Heidi walked into the room, side by side with Chelsea, glancing forward to see that Aro was in his seat, patiently waiting for them. Their master let out a small smile of happiness as he saw the three girls enter the room, Jane shutting the door quietly behind her.

"Ah, my girls. It is a pleasure to see you all well and rested," his child-like voice rang out through the room.

Chelsea and Heidi bowed to him before addressing him, "Master, is there something you need of us?" Chelsea questioned softly.

Jane caught up with the girls, now standing next to them.

"Actually, there is." Aro noted, saying nothing more. All he did was hand Chelsea some literature about Heidi, herself, and Jane. Their human history and now them up until the past day. It was kind of like someone was following them, noting their every location and task.

The girls looked down at the information Aro had given them, eyeing it up and down, trying to understand what he was saying. Heidi's eyebrows were raised in confusion as she looked the information over in wonder.

All the paper held was information on the girls which would be slightly disturbing if Heidi wasn't used to it by now. Aro knew everything about everyone within the castle. He had to, it was he job to know how to control his guards and knowing everything about them made that job that much easier.

Raising her eyes to meet her master's, Heidi questioned, "Sir?"

"If it helps, this was found in the bushes outside. I did not write it." Aro responded. "We have yet to find the human who wrote it."

Heidi's eyes snapped back down to the parchment she was holding in her hands and quickly assessed it over again, "This was written by a human?" Heidi questioned, only to receive a nod once more from Aro.

There was a human out there analyzing the girls and to not have had any of them realize this was a feat all on its own. How had he managed to get the information on the girls without them noticing or smelling him and why was he getting information. Either he was a threat to them or some kind of sick pervert.

"Has he only been watching us three or have other guards been involved in this as well, Master?" Heidi asked, not taking her eyes from the paper.

"The three of you, Afton, Alec, and Demetri. Felix found them just yesterday." Aro said, quietly.

Chelsea looked up from the piece of paper and frowned at this piece of news. She did not like it at all. Afton wouldn't care for it either. Someone keeping track of his mate, especially a pathetic human.

"We are to find him?" Chelsea asked, determination in her voice. She wanted to find this stupid human and end his or her life.

She glanced down at the paper, skimming it. Everything from her human life was there. Every single detail.

It made her sick.

"You may if you like." Aro said. "In fact Afton, Alec, and Demetri are already planning it."

Chelsea and Heidi both nodded, both willing to find this sick human and end his life slowly and painfully. They were prepared to hunt forever until he finished and his life ended.

Aro dismissed them with a wave of his hand and the three girls exited.

Heidi and Chelsea looked at Jane expectantly. A silent question was asked, wondering if Jane would join them in this mission. They would join the male guards and see what they had found.

Jane glanced at either of them before speaking.

The girls walked back out into the garden and paused at the large tree located in the middle. It was a tree that had been there longer than most of the guards within the castle. It's gnarled arms curled and stretch as if it was trying to grab any person passing by but the heart shaped lightly pink leaves gave it a welcoming look.

The three girls looked up into it's broad arms and slowly contemplated what they had to do.

"Heidi, Chelsea," Jane spoke.

"If you wish to come as well, I am going off to find the boys." Jane said, moving her glance from Heidi to Chelsea, waiting patiently for an answer.

As she waited, a single leaf from the tree, flew and landed on Heidi's head humorously, the stem sticking up like something was coming out of her head.

Chelsea nodded her head at Jane's words. Before long the three female guards were off in search of the male guards. Chelsea couldn't wait to see Afton again and help him and the rest of the Volturi find this male with the sick mind.

Heidi flicked the leaf off with a flick of her wrist and before long, the women were moving fast to where the men were at, which was in the meeting room.

It was time to discuss strategy.
